Uniform Bank and Uniform Information

Did you know that the Cascade Pacific Council has a uniform bank to help
youth and leaders who need assistance in obtaining shirts, neckerchiefs, tie
slides, pants, belts, hats, patches and socks? The items in the bank are
available free of charge on a first come, first served basis to all members of
all districts within the council. This bank is meant to supplement, not
replace, any unit or district uniform bank you may already utilize. We wish
to help make Scouting affordable to all who want to participate.
Right now the bank is very low on inventory and we need donations of
any of these items, particularly Cub Scout items. We need donations!
Do you have or know of any uniform items that someone has outgrown or
no longer needs? Have you seen any at thrift stores or yard sales? Could
you help by donating them to the uniform bank? This is a great way to
recycle items rather than sticking them in a box in the attic or donating
them to a thrift store where they may not ever make their way back to
useful life as a Scout uniform.
Donated items can be put in a bag or box with “uniform bank” written
on it and dropped off at the “will call” area at the council office. If this is not
convenient to you, please email or call Carolyn Kirby (info below) to make
other arrangements. Requests for uniform bank items can also be made by
