Public Training for Adults - Cub Scout Pack 111 (Valhalla, New York)

Proper training is a cornerstone in Scouting. We

believe every youth deserves a trained leader.

To be a leader, adults are responsible for learning the requirements for becoming a trained leader and following through on the training required to earn the “Trained Leader” emblem. In an effort to provide a quality experience for the youth of the community, Pack leadership is committed to training under the BSA policies.

All four basic training courses are on the Online Learning Center (www.myscouting.org). Please complete:

Youth Protection training
This Is Scouting
Fast Start training
Leader-Specific Training (for your role)

You need your username/password to properly record the online training. If you are new and completing Youth Protection training (which must be submitted with your application), set up a new account and remember your login. Please try to avoid creating multiple accounts.

Please keep a copy of each completed training certificate for your files!!! Sometimes the online system doesn't link up correctly to your ID, or it doesn't remember you took the training. In order to avoid having you take the training again, please keep the certificate that is generated either electronically and/or on paper.
