Hello all returning and new families. 

We are getting started on an exciting year of fun and learning. We have several camping type outings in the future. We have Tigermania for all of our Tiger cubs.  This is a fun filled overnight trip, where the boys can learn about scouts and get started on several of their Tiger badge requirements. Pack a Mania which is open to all boys.  Again there will be opportunity to work on awards and most importantly have fun! 

One of the hallmarks of Scouting is the emphasis on being reverent.  To help aid in your boy's spiritual growth there are a number of religious awards that can be earned.  These are tailored to your families faith.  If you are Catholic, Protestant, Orthodox, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu or just about any other faith, there is an award for your belief.  As a pack attached to St. Philip the Apostle Church we take pride on our commitment to earning these religious awards, and earlier this year earned the Catholic Quality Unit Award.  I would like to continue this tradition, and ask that you work with your son to earn his religious emblem.  Those boys who earn the Catholic awards will receive them at a special scout Mass held in the Cathedral in Fresno.  Please let me know if you would like to work on this award, and your religious background so we can order the appropriate materials for your faith.
